This was the 3rd painting I did of Helen. The 1st one the best but Helen wasn’t happy with it so I reworked it and it was ruined. It was very frustrating as I painted how I saw her… She was on cortizone treatment.
I met Helen in her small unit in Potts Point Sydney.
